Our flagship programme

Recovery on your terms. A new future starts with you.

A personal guidance programme for people who need support across several areas of life.

When so much happens that finding direction again is hard

Sometimes so much happens in life that it becomes difficult to find direction again. Financial worries, major events, prolonged stress or negative experiences with institutions can cause someone to get stuck in several areas of life at once.

At YFOEX we believe that lasting recovery requires more than solving a single problem. That is why we developed Rebuild Yourself: a multidisciplinary recovery programme in which social support, psychosocial guidance and personal development come together.

We help participants, step by step, to regain stability, build trust and take back control of their lives.

What is Rebuild Yourself?

Rebuild Yourself is a personal guidance programme for people who need support across several areas of life. The programme focuses on restoring balance, strengthening self-reliance and developing skills that contribute to an independent future.

Every participant has their own story, background and support needs. We therefore do not use one standard approach, but put together a personal programme. Different professionals can be involved, depending on the participant's needs and goals.

Who is Rebuild Yourself for?

Rebuild Yourself is intended for young adults and adults who struggle to continue independently due to major circumstances. Think of people experiencing prolonged stress, financial or social problems, loss of confidence or getting stuck in communication with institutions.

Victims of the childcare benefits scandal and others who have experienced major difficulties with government institutions can also benefit from our recovery-focused approach.

What does the programme look like?

  1. Introduction and assessment

We start with a personal conversation in which we map the situation, support needs, possibilities and wishes.

  2. Personal guidance plan

Together we set achievable goals and determine which support and professionals are needed.

  3. Guidance and development

The participant works with a dedicated contact person and involved professionals on the agreed goals. Practical guidance, emotional support and personal development reinforce each other. Where necessary we first focus on urgent matters that hinder daily functioning, such as administration, housing, finances or contact with institutions.

  4. Evaluation and future perspective

We regularly discuss progress and adjust the guidance where needed. Aftercare focuses on maintaining progress, recognising potential setbacks and supporting lasting independence. The goal is for participants to continue more and more independently, also after the programme ends.

What do we work on?

Depending on the personal situation, Rebuild Yourself can focus on:

  • Restoring emotional and social stability.
  • Strengthening confidence, identity and resilience.
  • Developing structure and independence in daily life.
  • Improving financial and administrative skills.
  • Strengthening communication and personal boundaries.
  • Discovering possibilities for social participation, work or personal development.

Not every participant needs the same support. The components are therefore tailored to the individual support request.

How long does Rebuild Yourself take?

12 months
Standard programme length. This period offers room to address immediate problems and to work on personal development and maintaining results.
18 months
Maximum length. Where the situation requires it, the programme can be extended in consultation and subject to the necessary agreements or funding.
1 dedicated contact person
Every participant works with their own contact person who coordinates the programme. The intensity of guidance is matched to the support needs and the agreements made.

How is Rebuild Yourself funded?

There are several ways to fund a Rebuild Yourself programme: a Personal Budget (PGB), broad support for victims of the childcare benefits scandal, a programme commissioned by a municipality or other client, or direct funding.

Working together on lasting recovery

Rebuild Yourself is not about what someone has been through, but about the possibilities to move forward again. We believe recovery takes time, trust, expert guidance and personal involvement.

Rebuild Yourself: not just recovering from the past, but building the future.
